Our Privacy Statement
The Toronto Computer Project (TCP) shields the confidentiality of all data given to us, except as permitted/required by law, and in keeping with all leglislation, be it municipal, provincial or federal. As well, we are an unincorporated group of people, and are not a registered non-profit.
Confidential information includes any information about who donates, receives, and volunteers, including:

Any personal information about recipients, donors, or volunteers

Information about TCP operations (e.g., contractual information and intellectual property of TCP)

Our Process

We DO open devices to check for functionality (e.g. Internet connection)

We MAY remove Hard Drives, SIM Cards, or other ways of storing data

To wipe devices: we give them to a business (e.g. Bestbuy) OR use hard drive
